Boys Basketball
SJV invites boys from grades 3-8 to join one of its three CSAA basketball teams. Boys in third to fifth grades will play in the Developmental League while those in sixth to eighth grades may try out for the Varsity League. Those not selected for Varsity may play in the Junior Varsity team. Games are held during weeknights and teams may compete in recreational tournaments held on the weekends. The season is from November-February.
Girls Basketball
SJV girls basketball program is open to grades 3-8, offering teams that play in the CSAA League. Games take place during weeknights and some weekends with participants having the opportunity to join tournaments as well. Girls in grades 6-8 may try out for a spot on a CSAA Varsity team and those not selected may play in the Junior Varsity team. Girls in grades 3-5 are placed on teams evenly depending on their talent and play in the Developmental League. The season is from August-October.
